Blue Cheese

I found this on KindGreenBuds.com: "Blue Cheese was created by crossing a set of Blueberry males, acquired from several different breeders, with Big Buddha Cheese, the backbone of many of Big Buddha's breeding projects. The resulting seeds were grown out and a male was selected from 40 different Blueberry x Cheese male contestants, becoming the rpoud papa of this pungent strain. The selected Blueberry Cheese male was then crossed once again with a Big Buddha Cheese female, making this hybrid a mostly cheese plant with a hint of blueberry."

Smell: Honestly it smells a little stale (sorry). Very floral with fruity undertones after it was broken up. Maybe a little like the smell of a blueberry "Smartie". Ya get what I mean? Those little candies called "Smarties."

Taste: 4 Stars
Almost sherbert-like but still very floral. There are kinda fruity tones kinda like a classic Cheese Strain with slight piney/limey aftertaste.

Smoothness: 2 Stars
A little harsh.

Slow Burning: 4 Stars
It burned very, very slow. I was pretty impressed.

Fluff Factor: 4 Stars
A nice size blunt from .5 gram.

High: 3.5 Stars

Length: 3 Stars
Average.

Strength: 4 Stars
I felt it hit about a 1/3 thru the blunt. It started behind my eyes and gave me sleepy eyes. It was chill but a little extra Indica than Sativa. Kinda tired after a few more hits. Pretty messed up at about 1/2 way thru the blunt. It gave me a pretty good body high. I could feel it from the top of my head to the tips of my toes.

Overall: 3.5 Stars
All in all, this was a sturdy strain that I did like very much. I would recommend it to anyone. This strain gets a Value rating of 3 Stars.

XJ-13

This is a strain I got from 1 Love Wellness. It is a hybrid that is Sativa Dominant. It is a cross between Jack Herer and G-13.

Smell: Super piney with undertones of lime candy. the undertones are a clean sweet smell.

Taste: 2 Stars
Super piney maybe a little limey but mainly a piney taste.

Smoothness: 3 Stars
Average but still a very clean smoke with very little irritability.

Slow Burning: 3 Stars

Fluff Factor: 4 Stars

High: 3.5 Stars

Length: 3 Stars
Average.

Strength: 4 Stars
I felt it hit about halfway thru the blunt. I could feel it in my ears and the back of my head. This strain is chill but not too Indica. Very psychoactive, slight tracers when staring off into space. A little spacey. It gave a little body high. The end of the high kinda went cerebral.

Overall: 3.1 Stars
This strain was pretty good and I would buy it again. It wasn't perfect but it was still definitely some strong stuff. This strain gets a Value rating of 3 Stars.

Popcorn Kush Hash

This is some Popcorn Kush Hash that I got from El Camino Wellness Center. It was obtained from a bubble extraction.

Smell: Though I didn't really believe it when they explained it to me at the the dispensary, it really does smell like buttered popcorn with some skunky undertones.

Taste: 3 Stars
Slight buttery taste with a little piney notes.

Fluff Factor: 4 Stars
This is definitely lasting me a while.

Smoothness: 3 Stars
Good not great but pretty smooth for strong hash.

Slow Burning: 4 Stars
Very slow burning.

High: 4 Stars

Length: 4 Stars
It lasted above and beyond. A strong steady buzz.

Strength: 4 Stars
At the second hit I could feel it. Third hit very hard. I need to compose myself after the third hit. Fourth hit, "Damn." It got real spacey and I started to stare off into space. It feels more Indica dominant but many hashes can become very heavy. It was super cerebral at the end of the bowl. I wasn't too tired but I had sleepy eyes. And once I was done I was super spacey.

Overall: 3.6 Stars
This was a great concentrate that was very smooth. At $20 I would give it a 4 Star value rating. It was truly a great hash that everyone should be able to try because it was beyond worth it.

Snowcap (Dipped)

This is the infamous Snowcap strain which is a Sativa dominant strain that I obtained from the AMC dispensary in Sac. This was one of two strain that they had sprayed with hash oil during the curing process.

Smell: Strong piney smell with a strong Hash oil smell. The kind of hash that is refined like earwax. Slightly fruity/lime candy smell in the background.

Fluff Factor: 4 Stars
Pretty nice especially for something sprayed with hash oil.

Taste: 3 Stars
A little chenical taste but very smooth with a slight piney/limey undertones.

Smoothness: 4 Stars
Very smooth especially for it having been sprayed.

Slow Burning: 4 Stars

High: 4 Stars (An average of Strength and Length)

Length: 4 stars
Definitely excellent.

Strength: 4 stars
I felt it a 1/4 thru the blunt. It was instantly a big cerebral and body high. Hitting hard at not even halfway thru the blunt. A little spacey. The more I smoke the more behind the eyes I feel the high. Not too tiring. Strong body high in the fingertips and toes especially. It ended very cerebral.

Overall: 3.8 Stars
This was a great strain that I would buy anytime. At only $55, I give it a 4 star value rating. Everyone should go get some for themselves because this was simply excellent.

Romulan

I found this on KindGreenBuds.com: "Federation purchased Romulan as a complete strain in 1996in an attempt to rescue it from extinction. In the 1970s, this variety was brought from Califronia to British Columbia by a Vietnam veteran, where it was grown on Vancouver Island. This variety was nicknamed Romulan after people joked that the high "could dent your head," producing ridges like those of Star Trek's warrior-like race with the same name.

Federation acquired Romulan in the form of clones, so she was entirely female. After crossing it with a Cannabis Cup prize winner, a White Rhino male, breeders ar Federation backcrossed 11 times to stabilize the variety at a 97 percent pure Romulan hybrid. Selections at each backcross favored the biggest, most robust plants over the fastest, although the finishing time remains around a very acceptable 8 weeks. Romulan seeds are now homogenous and have an improved robustness and yield as a result.

This
purple-stemmed plant branches extensively and is less appropriate for a sea of green garden than a set-up which takes advantage of the multiple branching and budding sites. A completely indica plant, Romulan is short and bushy with dark green leaves and thick buds. While still a moderate producer, Romulan has not lost its head-denting capabilities, and claims the title of Federation's most potent strain. Outdoors, this plant will yield about a half-pound of tight nuggets per fully grown plant. Drier climates are more favorable since the buds, being both thick and dense, have some susceptibility to mold.

Romulan is alien pot with potent effects. Couch lock is likely an dconcentration may be difficult to maintain. Medically, this weed has shown excellent results for chronic pain.In addition to its ongoing popularity in BC, Romulan has developed a devoted fan base in Texas."

Smell: Subtle yet potent, with a slight sweet undertone, (if that makes sense). You can smell the threat of potency but it isn't harsh or anything. Kind if its own scent with almost fruity sweet undertones. Good but hard to discern.

Taste: 2 Stars
Clean with a slight sweet lemony taste. Very subtle just on the aftertaste is when you notice it.

Smoothness: 2 Stars
Little harsh on the throat but other than that good.

Slow Burning: 3 Stars
Average.

High: 3 Stars (An average from the Strength and Length)

Length: 3 Stars
Average.

Strength: 3 Stars
Felt about 1/2 thru the blunt. It started right behind my eyes. Stronger and stronger, right after it hit. A little spacey, but no couchlock. Heart began to thump by the end but still pretty chill.

Overall: 2.5 Stars
Not a bad strain but I had way higher hopes for it (no pun intended). I would smoke this again but I would like it more on a mid-shelf.

MTF

I found this from WeedWiki: "Matanuska Thunder Fuck refers to any good cannabis coming out of the Matanuska Valley, Alaska since the early 70's. If you looked up the history of Palmer, you would see it was/is a government agricultural experimental station. The original families who moved here for this experiment had children in Palmer around the 40's & 50's that were influenced by the hippie movement and the influx of their kind to the Matanuska-Susitna Valley around the beginning of the 70's. With the knowledge those childern gained while working with their parents on the family farm growing up, and the projects they were involved in at the experimental station as college students, and from a few new found hippy friends from the west coast of the US, they began flower forcing by blacking out greenhouses during the summer. None made clones. They did remove males and knew how to prepare the cannabis for market. So with that, people in Alaska started to see some actual green bud as opposed to import, and it was all coming out of the valley. By the 80's only a few of these people remained, as some where busted others moved on. Of those that remained, they began taking clones and growing indoors. One of those men, Larry, met my father and taught him the techniques that some still use to this day here in the valley. Unfortunately, both Larry and my father are dead and the valley is full of greedy people. So the story of a strain named MTF just isn't true. Most of the people out there saying they have smoked it give different descriptions for flavor and effect. Most of the cannabis in the valley is from seeds bought from the mainstream seed banks/breeders."

Smell: A Strong earthy smell with sort of fruity undertones. It does almost have a lemony aftersmell. A lemon candy smell after it is broken up.

Taste: 2 Stars
Earthy with a lemon candy aftertaste. Pretty clean tasting.

Smoothness: 3 Stars
Very smooth but gets my throat a little dry. Slight cough.

I felt it hit a 1/3 thru the blunt. Very Cerebral. Right behind the eyes. Very Spacey. Coming on real strong at a 1/2 thru the blunt.

Overall: 2.875 Stars
Definitely a great strain. Just look at how sugary it is in the pic. The taste coulda been better but still it definitely had a kick to it.
