Smell: A little stale smell to it. It is kind of piney with little fruity notes to it. It's a sweet fruity note but slightly tangy.

Kind of bland. A little stale but a little piney with slight fruity notes.

Smoothness: 4 Stars
Very smooth.

Slow Burning: 3 Stars

Fluff Factor: 4 Stars

High: 3.5 Stars (An average of Strength and Length)

Length: 3 Stars
Average.

Strength: 4 Stars
I felt it a 1/3 thru the blunt. Chill with a nice body high. It is slightly cerebral. Not too Indica but still chill. Became a little spacey. It got strong at 1/2 thru the blunt and turned way more cerebral.

Overall: 3.3 Stars
By the smell I wasn't expecting much but by the end it was a good strain. It could have been better but it was still very good. I would give this strain a 3 Star Value rating.

How To Make Green Dragon by Eric The Ruler

I am proud to say that this video is brought to you by a friend of mine, Eric The Ruler. Please check out his channel on Youtube.com.

Mr. Nice (Dipped)

I found this on Leafly.com: Mr. Nice is a cross between the legendary G13 strain and the Hash Plant. Previously unavailable since the '80s, Sensi Seed Bank has put this hybrid on the market again. He is named in honor of Howard Marks, the Oxford graduate who became one of the biggest Marijuana smugglers of our time. After his time in federal prison Howard released his autobiography entitled "Mr. Nice".

This indica dominant plant has extremely dense buds with a sweet smell. Mr. Nice will creep up and provide you with a strong, mellow high.

Now just to let you know that during the curing process this strain was sprayed with hash oil. I got this at AMC dispensary off of Watt Ave. in Sac.

Smell: Skunky with fruity undertones. A little of the hash oil smell. It was mainly a sweet smell but had a little of a stale smell to it.

Taste: 2 Stars
A little stale and a little fruity. Not bad but nothing really that special about it.

Smoothness: 3 Stars
Average.

Slow Burning: 4 Stars
Impressive maybe due to the hash oil.

Fluff Factor: 3 Stars
Average.

High: 4 Stars (An average from Strength and Length)

Length: 4 Stars
Excellent

Strength: 4 Stars
I felt it a 1/4 of the way thru the blunt. It started very chill and mellow. Then it got more spacey. It was a little cerebral starting behind my eyes. Soon it got very spacey with a slight body high.

Overall: 3.2 Stars
This wasn't as spectacular as the last dipped strain Snowcap but it held it's own and I would definitely buy this again. I think it deserves a 4 Star Value Rating, $55 an eighth that is sprayed with hash oil is still a great price.

Spectre hasn't left ya!

Good day to all potheads. I just wanted everyone to know that I am here for good and if there are any spaces between posts I will gladly make up for them when I get back to a computer. So to catch us up.

Recipe of the Week: Hosttess Cupcakes with a kick

PASTRY CREAM

1/2 cup sugar, divided
1/4 cup cornstarch
4 egg yolks
2 cups cannabis milk, divided
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

CUPCAKES
5 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup milk, divided
4 Egg yolks, divided
1/2 cup cannabis butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 egg whites

GANACHE
6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
3/4 cup cannabis whipping cream (recipe at bottom)

PURE WHITE FROSTING
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon cannabis milk

PREPARATION:

To make pastry cream, mix 1/4 cup sugar and cornstarch in a bowl until smooth. Add egg yolks and mix until a paste is formed. Stir in 1/2 cup milk.

Combine remaining 1.1/2 cups milk and 1/4 cup sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour hot mixture into a bowl, whisking constantly. Pour back into pan.

Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick. Remove from heat and stir an additional minute. Stir in vanilla and transfer to a bowl. Cover with buttered parchment paper touching top and chill a minimum of 2 hours or as long as 2 days.

To make cupcakes, butter and flour a 12-cup and a 6-cup muffin tin.

Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler or in a bowl over simmering water. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup milk and 2 egg yolks. Whisk until combined. Add to melted chocolate and stir constantly (while cooking over simmering water) until mixture is shiny and thick, about 3 minutes. Set aside to cool.

In a clean bowl, cream butter and sugar until light. Add remaining 2 egg yolks, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. In another bowl, mix together, flour, salt and baking soda.

Combine 1/4 cup whipping cream, vanilla and remaining 1/2 cup milk in a small bowl and reserve.

Pour cooled chocolate mixture into creamed butter and sugar. Whisk until smooth. Add combined dry ingredients and cream mixture in three stages, alternating liquid and dry ingredients, and ending up with liquid. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold, all at once, into batter. Spoon batter into muffin cups, about 2/3 full.

Bake in a preheated 325^F oven for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Set aside to cool, in pan on rack, about 10 minutes. Invert and set aside on a sheet pan lined with parchment or wax paper to cool, about an hour.

To prepare ganache, place chocolate in a medium bowl. In a small saucepan bring 3/4 cup whipping cream to a boil. Pour into chocolate and stir until chocolate is completely melted. Let cool until mixture is less than body temperature.

To make pure white frosting, mix powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth.

Using the tip of a small paring knife, cut a small cone from bottom of each cupcake. Reserve cones. Scoop out about 2 teaspoons cake from center of each cupcake ( A grapefruit spoon works well for this step) Fill a pastry bag fitted with a plain tip with pastry cream. Pipe cream into cupcakes, then replace reserved cones. Place bottom-side down on the lined sheet pan and chill.

When ganache is room temperature, dip cupcakes in to coat tops. Chill for a few minutes to firm chocolate. Fill a plain-tipped pastry bag with frosting and decorate with a squiggle across each top, trying for 7 loops on each cupcake. Store in refrigerator until serving time.

Cannabis Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 quart cannabis milk or cannabis heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place milk in freezer for 1 hour. Remove and pour into a tall cylindrical container. Using an immersion blender, start at the bottom and slowly draw the blender up at a tilt. Gradually add confectioners' sugar while continuing to move blender up and down to build volume. When milk begins to form soft peaks, mix in vanilla extract. Serve immediately.
